Today we looked in on the system here at HAU and spent some extensive time in training with Jean Baptiste and Gaspard from the University. We answered many questions and concerns and began the process of ongoing communications upon our return to the USA.
The Rector of the University scheduled an evening out with many of the university staff and all of us from I-TEC. We were at a beautiful restaurant located right on Lake Tanganyika. IT afforded us a great view of the sunset over the mountains of Congo.
The meal we were treated to was extraordinarily great. At the conclusion of the meal the Rector presented I-TEC with a plaque of appreciation from the University.
Tomorrow we are planning on going back to Christian Life Ministries Church, then we will have our last lunch at the University Restaurant. In the afternoon we plan to film some more training that will be useful for the University as well as for ourselves for the future. We will be heading for the airport around 4:30 in the afternoon to begin our trek back home. We certainly appreciate your prayers over these past weeks for us as we worked on the system. God has blessed us beyond belief. The dependable power for the University will be a real asset in furthering the Gospel here in Burundi.
