GOD is Good! The solar array substructure is 100% complete. Monday we finished touch up grinding and all the welding joints were repainted. Overall a very good, but long day!
Tuesday a wall foundation was demolished and we started unloading the containers to lighten up the load. (We will store supplies in a classroom until we need them.) Both containers were offloaded and are now sitting in their permanent spot at HAU!
There were some issues with the original crane that was supposed to do the job, but because of soft ground, maneuvering them into place would not be possible. Plan B called for two smaller cranes. They set up and had the trucks back into the empty lot. One at a time, they picked up the container so the truck could drive away. Then slowly set the container on the ground. They were limited in how far the smaller crane could extend with the weight of each container. So they picked up one container, moved it until they maxed out the extension, set it on the ground, repositioned, over and over again until they got them both on the pillars. It was slow work but it has been done.
Receive a big hug from all of us here!!!
GOD be praised!
