Repairs to Sister Connection

August 22 & 23, 2019

Last week Miguel’s family and Michael traveled to Sister Connection to assess and correct issues with our first PowerPac, which was installed in 2015.

A lightning strike in March of 2019 had shut down the system.  And although many stateside hours of troubleshooting and assisting Seth (who works there) were invested since then, the system would not work.  Once on site, they were able to determine that two extremely small DIP switches needed correction and then the system operated as designed.  Praise God!  Footage of the original install is within the I-TEC video in this link:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B067Az6owzT4alhNVk5pbWRITWs/view?usp=sharing

It was a blessing for Miguel’s family to meet these remarkable women.  The children enjoyed playing together while the men diagnosed and corrected problems.  Even though upgrades and additional corrections are imminent to keep this system functioning efficiently, for now it is providing electricity to this important ministry to widows and their children in Burundi.  Please pray for their favor in community and for their strength.

It's a Wrap

It is now Tuesday, November 5, and everyone who was at the I-TEC HAU project is now at home safely.  We praise the Lord for on-time (mostly)...
